I have always loved candles. The flame keeps me company and makes me feel less alone. I find comfort and warmth whenever I enjoy them, so I often light many candles at once. This inspired the name Lightslada, short for "Lights a lot of."

Driven by my passion for candles, I founded Lightslada in 2018 to craft luxurious and safe products. Valuing quality and safety, I journeyed to find the best ingredients, ensuring long burn times and great value for money. A friend once suggested that I share "my light" with others, which resonated deeply with me. Growing up mostly alone, I lost my mother to ovarian cancer at a young age and didn't grow up with a father. During those dark times and throughout my life, the flicker of a candle brought me solace, perhaps reminding me of my mother, or maybe it was a connection to something greater, like God. That tiny flame made me happy and gave me hope. I also found comfort in uplifting quotes and self-help books, which inspired me to incorporate a bit of that positivity into Lightslada.
